Room types

What is the difference between the room categories offered?

The Standard Rooms are rooms from 11m2, are equipped with a double bed (140×200 cm or 160×200 cm) and a bathroom with shower, ideal for one or two people.

The Superior Rooms, are rooms with an area from 13m2, are equipped with a double bed (160×200 cm) and bathrooms with showers.

The Twin Rooms, are rooms with an area from 16m2, are equipped with two single beds ( 90×200 cm) and a bathroom with shower, ideal for two adults.

The Family Rooms, are rooms with an area from 20m2, are equipped with two double beds ( 140×200 cm) and a bathroom with showers, ideal for two adults and two children.

What is the difference between a double room and a twin room?

A double room has a standard double bed of 140×200 cm or 160×200 cm, a Twin room has two single beds of 90×200 cm for separate sleeping arrangements.

We have a toddler, can we have extra beds in the room?

A cot can be made available to you free of charge. This offer is subject to availability at time of booking.

Can I request an extra bed for a third person in a double room? How much will it cost me?

We do not have an extra bed available.

Do you have connecting rooms?

The hotel does not have connecting rooms, however, we can assign you rooms side by side.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

Yes, all our rooms, as well as all public areas of the hotel are non-smoking. < /p>

Does the hotel have an elevator?

The hotel is equipped with an elevator.

Price

Are the prices on your site per person or per room?

All rates on our site are per room, per night.

Is breakfast included in the price?

Unless specified in your package, buffet breakfast is an option at the rate of 11€/person. For your children under 10 years old it is free. A gluten-free or vegetarian breakfast is possible on request at the time of booking.

Are taxes included in the price of the rooms?

Yes, the price of the room includes all taxes (VAT and service included).
Only the tourist tax is extra, at the rate of 1.25 €/ day/ person for adults and children over 10 years old.

Will I get the same rates and availability by booking on the hotel's website or by calling the reservations department?

Yes, we apply the best rates available on our website as well as for customers who call us directly.

Credit Cards and Payments

Why do you need my credit card information?

Does the hotel require a deposit or pre-payment?

Please note that our hotel pre-authorizes your credit card two weeks before your arrival in order to have a guarantee for your first night. Pre-authorization allows you to verify the validity of your banking information in order to reserve a certain amount to cover the room rate. This is a one night rate.

What type of credit card can I use to guarantee the reservation?

MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted as collateral.

How to pay the hotel bill?

You can pay for the room by credit card, cash on site or by pre-payment as stated in the terms and conditions.

Can I pay for my stay at the hotel with a different credit card than the one I used to guarantee the reservation?

Yes. Your credit card information is required to guarantee your reservation. You can pay at the hotel by selecting the payment method of your choice, as indicated above.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still make a reservation?

Unfortunately, a credit card is required to guarantee reservations made at our hotel. We cannot validate reservations without a credit card.

Is your online reservation system secure in order to protect my banking and personal information?

You can book securely on www.hoteleurope.fr. Once you have entered your personal and bank details, your online reservation is processed via a secure computer server. The personal information you enter is encrypted to protect it during transmission.

Cancelation

What are the cancellation policies for this hotel?

In the event that you have to cancel a reservation, be sure to do so in advance at least 48 hours before the day of arrival so as not to pay additional costs equivalent to the price of one night or more. Read the terms and conditions.

Do I have to pay cancellation fees?

Cancellation fees may be different depending on the offer you have booked and the period you wish to cancel. In order to avoid additional costs due to a cancellation, make sure to cancel on time and to respect the cancellation conditions corresponding to your reservation.

How to cancel a reservation?

If, for any reason whatsoever, you wish to cancel your reservation, you must contact us before the deadline indicated by the hotel and appearing in the cancellation conditions. You will need to provide the information contained in your booking confirmation. If you cancel your reservation within the deadlines set out in the hotel’s cancellation conditions, we will not charge you the amount corresponding to your first night and we will therefore waive the right to collect your deposit. If you cancel your reservation after the deadline indicated in the cancellation policy, we reserve the right to charge you an additional fee equivalent to the price of your first reserved night. < /span>

Will my credit card be charged if I forget to cancel my reservation?

Yes. Reservations are guaranteed by your credit card. To avoid paying cancellation fees, reservations must be canceled in accordance with the hotel’s cancellation policy. Take the time to read the cancellation conditions corresponding to your reservation.

Booking process

What are the check-in and check-out times for this hotel?

We welcome you from 2 p.m. On the day of your departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room before 11am. In case you arrive earlier or later, please let us know in advance when making your reservation or by contacting us. We have a luggage room to keep your suitcases if your room is not ready when you arrive.

Can I bring my pet?

We do not accept pets.

Does the Hotel have parking?

Being in a pedestrian zone, we do not have parking, however, there are two underground public car parks nearby:

-Téléphérique/Grenette (formerly Philipeville)

-Lafayette

It takes about 20€ per night.

Can we drive to the hotel?

You can arrive by car directly in front of the hotel. You have to take rue Saint François and then the tram tracks. It is possible to park in front of the hotel only long enough to leave your belongings in the room.

Is the hotel accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Due to the architecture of our establishment, accessibility for all could not be validated. None of our rooms correspond to PMR criteria.
